Sheetmetalworld is pleased to be able to offer you a free unbranded information feed to your website. By simply cutting and pasting a couple of lines of HTML code directly into your website you can offer users more reasons to keep coming back to your site.

The plug in automatically displays the latest five news stories running on Sheetmetalworld, and is updated automatically - you do not ever need to edit this code once inserted.

The standard plug-in looks like this (above), but is configurable to suit your site. For example, you may wish to show the next ten news stories, or perhaps only list stories from a particular language version on Sheetmetalworld.

Sheetmetalworld.com does not brand this plug in - the only link to us is the 'View all headlines' link at the bottom of the box. We also hyperlink to the supplier of the news article, which may also be us if the press release was supplied directly. When clicked this opens a separate browser window, therefore keeping users on YOUR site.

To add the News plug-in into your site, simple cut and paste the code in the box below directly into your website. Alternatively, if you wish to further configure the plugin, scroll down and see how you can further tailor it to meet your needs.

Further customization is available by adding variables to the script tag.

MAXROWSAllows the standard number of 5 exhibitions to be increased.
Example: news_js.cfm?maxrows=10 - This would list 10 records.
LANGUAGE Allows user to display stories from a particular language version of Sheetmetalworld. At present only English and Dutch are available, however more are planned for later this year.
Example: news_js.cfm?language=dutch - this would show only Dutch stories. Default is English.

You can easily combine the above tags by using '&' within the script tag. For example, if you want to list all Dutch stories, but want to display a maximum of 15 records you would use the following:
news_js.cfm?maxrows=15&language=dutch
