The Show will go on [Fabtech 2001]

September 2001

Fabtech 2001, due to take place in November in Chicago, IL will still be held despite the recent terrorist attacks on the United States.

A member of the organisation team confirmed that no exhibitors had cancelled and that additional security will be in place.

As this article went to press, the US Transport Secretary confirmed that US airspace would re-open to commercial aircraft later today. Travel arrangements will, however suffer some delays amid increased security and re-organising existing traffic.

The SME has a booth at the EMO trade fair currently running in Hanover, Germany and has been receiving condolences from visitors to the show.
