Sheetmetalworld author launches second marketing book

Management Books 2000 Ltd has announced the publication of a second edition of Sheetmetalworld.com author Martin Bailey's successful marketing book, Marketing your Business. The book is aimed at small to medium sized companies looking to either increase their existing marketing activities or to bring currently outsourced tasks in-house.
Broken down into two main sections across 21 chapters, the first ten chapters concentrate on theoretical issues, such as company image, resources, internal and external communications, the Internet, the media, trade shows and advertising. The second part consists of eleven chapters that focus on practical applications, taking the reader step by step through common processes such as creating press releases and newsletters, writing case studies, structuring a website, e-commerce, contact management and creating multimedia content for web, CD and DVD distribution. The second edition of the book has been expanded considerably, with a third more content over the original, and a new practical chapter focusing on creating automated websites.
The book also includes a CD-ROM that features a wide range of freeware and trial applications that are recommended for every Marketing Manager's hard drive. In addition to applications widely regarded as industry standard in their field, such as Adobe PhotoShop, Macromedia Dreamweaver and ACT! the CD also includes several extremely useful freeware programs, including a completely free Office suite, web design software, video conferencing, bulk emailing and search engine optimisation software. A number of video tutorials are also provided, visually demonstrating procedures documented in several of the practical chapters, together with additional statistics and fact sheets.
In writing the book and CD-ROM, the author obtained input from world-leading companies and individuals to provide advice to each relevant chapter.
